We collect information you provide when signing up and using the platform:

• Account details — name, email address, and hashed password
• Profile preferences — interests, goals, and domains you care about
• Conversation data — messages exchanged with AI avatars (encrypted at rest)
• Payment records — transaction amounts and status (card details handled by Razorpay)
• Usage analytics — session duration, features used, and performance metrics

• To operate and improve the SummonMind platform and its AI capabilities
• To personalise avatar responses based on your history and goals
• To process payments and manage your credit balance
• To send important service notifications and platform updates
• To detect fraud, prevent abuse, and ensure platform security

We take your privacy seriously and implement multiple layers of protection:

• All conversations are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
• Data transmission is secured via TLS 1.3
• Avatar conversation data is strictly isolated — no cross-avatar data leakage
• We conduct regular internal security audits and penetration testing
• Payment data is never stored on our servers — handled by PCI-DSS compliant Razorpay

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

• With Razorpay for processing payments (subject to their privacy policy)
• With OpenAI for AI response generation (anonymised conversation context only)
• With HeyGen for avatar video rendering (no personally identifiable information shared)
• When required by law, court order, or government authority in India
• In connection with a merger or acquisition (you will be notified in advance)

You have full control over your data. You may at any time:

• Access all personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate or outdated information
• Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your conversation history in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

We use minimal, essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain session state. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell your browsing behaviour. You can manage or clear cookies through your browser settings at any time.

SummonMind is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover that a minor has created an account, we will delete it immediately. If you believe a minor is using our platform, please contact us at hello@summonmind.com.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Conversation history is retained to power avatar memory. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently erased within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes via email and/or a prominent notice on the platform at least 7 days before they take effect.
